Bud wrote this story while visiting one of his favorite places in Dubuque, Iowa, Lock & Dam No. 11. A Space Sphere landed in the river and sank deep into the mud. There it lay dormant for thousands, maybe millions, of years, unknown to the upper world.

Suddenly, the Space Sphere develops a serious problem with a clogged ventilation system. Aliens, known as Zebra Clams, have attacked it. The Zebra Frog was designed and manufactured by the Alien Engineers of Planet Mississippi to keep their filter and ventilation system free of Zebra Mussels. Love his smile!! What an awesome sculpture! A character in the "Planet Mississippi" story.
