This is just one of the Shellheads Bud created for this great story. He was inspired during our memorable trip to the Gulf Coast as we collected buckets of shells.

In the story, very few have ever seen a Shellhead. If you are lucky enough to be one of the chosen few, they will be your friend for life. If you see one, you have to leave something shiny, like a coin. The Shellheads fly in the mouth or on the back of pelicans to get from one place to another. Awesome!
